DAY 4 - Being lazy by da Beach

DAY 4:

We were feeling a lazy day and our resort offered complimentary chairs and anything non-motorized for the water (snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc) so we got a couple chairs with an umbrella and sipped wine while I read. Side bar: THIS is what I envisioned when we planned our honeymoon. Us, chair, water, book, alcohol.

OUR BEACH!

This is the view from the side of our resort looking away from the water. Also, there are cows all on these hills. We played a fun game called 'Count how many cows iz up there?' it's a pretty easy game.

Our first water activity was paddle boarding. It was very windy that day and the current pulled us out pretty far, but it was a great workout and fun to be out in the water with my boo.

Joey to self: Ima swim in dat.

A family at the beach let us borrow their football so Joey played QB and I was his WR and it drew quite a bit of attention. People on the beach were shouting cheers or jeers to us and even the restaurant goers were enjoying the show. We turned the sand into our field and the ocean was out of bounds even though we found ways to flip into the water after making some diving catches.

After football we snorkeled around the rocks and saw some fishies. We believe Joey scraped his leg against fire coral, it was burning him and welts later appeared. I offered to pee on him like a good wife but he said he was okay.

I'm an equal opportunist animal feeder. This little guy also had free breakfast every morning.

For dinner we went to a nice Italian place on Restaurant Row. Gorgeous views and since it was early (maybe 6ish) we were the only ones there. We were given our usual free cocktails and our entrees were filet and the chicken Columbia which is like a quarter chicken in a curry sauce. Joey also got his Farkle win back this time around.

This is Restaurant Row's street view. LOVE. Oh, I'm in there too!

Joey doesn't like to pose for the camera because he knows he's SO handsome he could break the phone...
But I take anything head on!

We were back at our resort pretty early so we found kitties to feed and walked around the beach for awhile. It was kind of awesome and romantic to walk down the beach at night time with my new husband and no one else around.  Then there was this hammock; big enough for two, under a beautiful tree with huge green leaves that frankly looked fake and next to our beach so you could hear the waves. I am actually not sure how long we laid on it, but it was definitely a magical honeymoon moment.
Magical Disney Hammock Ride.

Score!
Joey's favorite moment: When the crazy wind knocked us off our paddle boards.

Laurie's favorite moment: Swinging in the hammock under the trees and by the water.
